1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Gamerlog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Gamerlog is a game tracking and social platform that allows users to:

• Track and organize their video game collection
• Rate and review games
• Create and share game lists
• Follow other users and view their gaming activity
• Discover new games based on community recommendations

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of Gamerlog, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on Gamerlog (reviews, lists, comments). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform.

You agree not to post content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Is spam, misleading, or deceptive
• Contains malware or malicious code
• Violates any applicable laws

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Use the service for commercial purposes without approval
• Circumvent any rate limits or security measures

6. Intellectual Property

The Gamerlog name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Game titles, covers, and related content are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes. IGDB provides game data used on the platform.

7. Third-Party Services

Gamerlog may integrate with third-party services (gaming platforms, social networks). We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties. Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Gamerlog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Game information may contain inaccuracies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gamerlog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Gamerlog after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
